Sistemi S.p.A intends to relocate the company core business in a single building complex, planned on Plot 1. As needed, it was designed a building complex with 4 floors above ground, divided into three buildings; production plants were planned in the two buildings overlooking Via Sassi and Via Magenta, while the offices are provided in the body of the building placed at 45 °.
On Plot 1 it was also made a low building in the courtyard, in whose basement is the parking. This low building integrates the functions of canteen/conference room and also includes the caretaker’s accommodation. Under the courtyard at street level there is an underground garage for about 80 cars.
The garage (at an altitude of -3.20 m) is equipped with two access ramps two-way traffic, and communicates with the building through two ventilated filters.
Loading and unloading of materials and the departure of the finished product is through an open courtyard located at an altitude of -3.30 meters, and served from the ramp onto Magenta Street. The buildings were made entirely with a body of reinforced concrete, cast on site beams and pillars and horizontal elements made in prefabricated c.a.p. slabs.
In terms of architecture, we intended create a distinctive image that seamlessly integrates with the existing buildings in both volumes and materials. In particular, it has been considered that the facing residences called “Case basse” (low houses), as well as many buildings in the City of Collegno, are made of exposed masonry.
